RAISE THE RED LANTERN

Oh the drama, below.
Fresh, modern, above. Raise The Red Lantern, 1991, above, has an incredible garden scene. Lasting seconds, I watched & rewound dozens of times. A courtyard of bonsai. Trees, ancient, human sized, centuries of nurturing. A potted forest.
.
What seems new, top pic, is a centuries old idea.

Those photos are beautiful and I'm amazed by the size of the pots!

Dearest Tara,

I adore those boxwood. What is the secret to getting them nice and round and not wiry?

In the garden I wear a skirt and tall rubber boots so the potty is easy.

I'll have you know that I've been on a massive whole house decluttering with your mantra in my head. "Will my heirs fight over this?" If not, then out it goes. It has been the BEST decluttering tool I've ever discovered.
